Thai and Myanmar Support Products Now Available

We will release the "Thailand and Myanmar Support" Carry the Sun product, based on the "Buy One Give One" support project.
The support product you purchase will be personally delivered by you, the purchasing user, and Landport staff to the local area during the "Journey to Deliver the Sun" public SDGs experience program, scheduled for August.

There are two types, A and B, of the "Carry the Sun" solar lantern for the "Thailand and Myanmar Support" product.

【Thailand/Myanmar Support A】
This system ensures that one Carry the Sun unit is delivered to you, and we donate one unit to Thailand/Myanmar.
In other words, if you purchase one unit, one unit will also be delivered to Thailand/Myanmar.
【Thailand/Myanmar Support B】
This system ensures that your purchased Carry the Sun unit, plus another unit provided by us, making a total of two, are donated to Thailand/Myanmar.
In other words, if you purchase one unit, two units (including your purchased unit) will be delivered to Thailand/Myanmar.

We kindly ask for your support to deliver as many lights as possible to children in mountainous regions of Thailand and to internally displaced people in Myanmar.

Background of the launch of the "Thailand and Myanmar Support" product

The mountainous region of Thailand is one of the areas without electricity infrastructure, and thus, without light.
Furthermore, since the coup d'état by the Myanmar military on February 1, 2021, over 1.84 million internally displaced people have been forced into difficult living conditions near the borders of Myanmar's neighboring countries, including Thailand*1.

The "Carry the Sun" solar lantern is light, durable, easy to handle, and solar-powered, making it ideal for providing light in areas without adequate infrastructure. The "Thailand and Myanmar Support" product was launched with the desire to help "free from darkness" and "create an environment where children can study even after sunset" through the light of "Carry the Sun."

In cooperation with the Japanese NGO BRCJ (Burma Relief Centre Japan)*2, we will promote efforts to deliver "Carry the Sun" to internally displaced people who have fled to Karen State and Kayah State, which border northwestern Thailand.

This project involves us providing the same number of Carry the Sun units as purchased from our official store and donating them to areas without light, both domestically and internationally. It is a new form of support that allows one to experience the joy of helping others.
