Terms of service

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") define the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by Landport Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") on this EC site.
All registered members (hereinafter referred to as "members") shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)
These Terms shall apply to all relations between members and the Company regarding the use of the Service.

Article 2 (User Registration)
User registration shall be completed when a prospective registrant applies for user registration by a method prescribed by the Company and the Company approves it.
The Company may not approve an application for user registration if it determines that the applicant has any of the following reasons, and shall not be obligated to disclose the reason.
(1) If false information was reported when applying for user registration.
(2) If the application is from a person who has violated these Terms.
(3) In any other case where the Company deems the user registration inappropriate.

Article 3 (Management of Member ID and Password)
Members shall manage their Member ID and password for the Service at their own responsibility.
Members shall not transfer or lend their Member ID and password to a third party under any circumstances. If a Member ID and password combination matches the registered information and a login occurs, the Company shall consider it as use by the member who registered that Member ID.

Article 4 (Usage Fees and Payment Method)
Use of the Service is free of charge.

Article 5 (Prohibited Actions)
Members shall not engage in the following actions when using the Service:
(1) Actions that violate laws or public order and morals.
(2) Actions related to criminal acts.
(3) Actions that destroy or interfere with the functions of the Company's servers or networks.
(4) Actions that may interfere with the operation of the Company's services.
(5) Actions to collect or accumulate personal information of other members.
(6) Actions to impersonate other members.
(7) Actions to directly or indirectly provide benefits to anti-social forces in relation to the Company's services.
(8) Other actions deemed inappropriate by the Company.

Article 6 (Suspension of Service Provision, etc.)
The Company may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to members if it determines that any of the following reasons exist:
(1) When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates of the computer system related to the Service.
(2) When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure such as an earthquake, lightning strike, fire, power outage, or natural disaster.
(3) When the computer or communication line stops due to an accident.
(4) In any other case where the Company deems it difficult to provide the Service.
The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantages or damages incurred by members or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the provision of the Service, regardless of the reason.

Article 7 (Restrictions on Use and Deletion of Registration)
The Company may, without prior notice, restrict the use of all or part of the Service for members, or delete the member's registration, in the following cases:
(1) If any provision of these Terms is violated.
(2) If it is found that there is false information in the registered details.
(3) In any other case where the Company deems the use of the Service inappropriate.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members due to actions taken by the Company based on this Article.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)
The Company shall be exempt from liability for default if it is not due to the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
The Company shall not be liable for any transactions, communications, or disputes that arise between members and other members or third parties regarding the Service.

Article 9 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)
The Company may change the content of the Service or cease providing the Service without notifying members, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members as a result.

Article 10 (Changes to Terms of Use)
The Company may change these Terms at any time without notifying members if it deems it necessary.

Article 11 (Notifications or Communications)
Notifications or communications between members and the Company shall be made by the method prescribed by the Company.

Article 12 (Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations)
Members shall not assign or pledge their position under the use agreement or their rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party without the prior written consent of the Company.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
Japanese law shall be the governing law for the interpretation of these Terms.
In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall be the exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
