On August 16, 2024, Thame village in the Himalayan Everest region was affected by a glacial lake outburst flood caused by global warming.
Landport, in cooperation with Ken Noguchi, has launched sales of the "Himalayan Flood Support Model" to deliver light to the villages along the Everest trail that were swallowed by the muddy waters. For every product sold, an equal number of CARRY THE SUN lights will be donated to the affected areas. Mr. Noguchi's eldest daughter, Eko Noguchi, is also participating in the support efforts, and the special edition includes a message and signed original mount from the father and daughter.
