We adopted it as a novelty item for the participants of the 27th General Assembly and Academic Conference of the Japanese Association for Disaster Medicine.
As disaster medical professionals, our support activities are aimed at protecting the lives and health of the injured and sick. However, we believe that the essence of our work is to be close to disaster victims and to act carefully with compassion. We felt that this Carry the Sun product perfectly aligned with this concept. We heard that it can also be used outdoors, but we believe that in the event of a disaster when lifelines are cut off, having it by the side of the victims can provide light and hope, even if only a little, as if being close to them.
It was a rare item as a novelty for a medical academic conference, and the participants were very pleased with it. We believe it also brought some comfort to the hearts of medical professionals who respond to harsh disaster medical situations.
